Patti and Robert <3 Patti Smith is an inspiration to me in so many ways (I’m sure her presence will be well and truly felt on this blog), but the level of passion and determination in her autobiography ‘Just Kids’ lit a fire in me to do something, anything. I dare you to read ‘Just Kids’ and not feel the absolute and essential NEED to create. The first line of her protopunk song ‘Ask the Angels’ says the same: “MOVE!” Well Patti, I’m moving. I hope you approve of the direction.
